SwiftERM FAQ

The intelligence behind the opportunity.

What could your existing customers be worth if you could recognise their next purchasing interests and act at the right moment? These answers explain SwiftERM’s technology, the work it removes and how to establish its financial value for your own store.

Explore the detail in how SwiftERM works, or start with the questions below.

Commercial value

What does SwiftERM do for my business?

SwiftERM identifies products each customer is most likely to buy next and presents an individual selection by email, timed to that person’s response patterns. The aim is further purchasing from customers you have already acquired, without increasing acquisition expenditure or adding routine campaign-management work.

What could the reported 10.26% uplift mean for me?

SwiftERM has reported an average 10.26% uplift in online sales across its clients. An equivalent uplift would represent £102,600 on £1 million annual online turnover, or £3.078 million on £30 million. Use your own online turnover, then apply your gross margin and deduct the subscription and other relevant costs. This is a historical client average, not a promise for every store.

How should I measure the financial benefit?

Assess sales attributed to SwiftERM, the gross profit they contribute and the costs involved. Revenue and profit are different measures. Compare performance with your existing activity and, where practical, use a controlled comparison to establish which sales are additional. Our customer case studies provide historical examples to examine against your own business.

Will I need another person to operate it?

No routine campaign operator is required. Once installation and verification are complete, SwiftERM carries out individual prediction, product selection, email assembly and send timing autonomously. Your business still maintains its store, product information, marketing permissions and integration, and can review the results.

The technology

How does the machine learning choose products?

SwiftERM analyses purchase history, product-level interest and browsing behaviour to develop an evolving prediction of each individual’s buying interests. It ranks products by predicted buying relevance to that person, updating the assessment as further behavioural evidence arrives. Our explanation of autonomous prediction describes how those decisions lead to individual communications.

Why is this different from putting customers into segments?

Two people in the same segment may want different products and respond at different times. SwiftERM makes selection and timing decisions for the individual rather than assuming a shared characteristic determines the next purchase. Someone’s previous order informs the prediction; their developing interests can change it.

What is send-time optimisation (STO)?

STO uses machine learning to analyse a recipient’s response patterns and determine when they are most likely to engage. The timing can adapt as their behaviour changes. Product prediction addresses what to present; send-time optimisation addresses when to deliver it. SwiftERM combines both within its autonomous process.

Does it work only while someone is on my website?

No. SwiftERM uses behaviour recorded on your ecommerce store to inform a product selection delivered by email. Customers can receive that selection away from your website and follow links back to individual products. It therefore provides a way to pursue purchasing opportunities between return visits.

Your existing systems

How does SwiftERM differ from campaigns and triggered flows?

Campaigns and flows commonly require your team to define audiences, content or events such as a purchase or abandoned basket. SwiftERM continuously evaluates individual product interests and carries the decision through to email delivery. Your team does not have to build a new campaign or define a purchase or basket trigger for each opportunity.

I already have AI recommendations. What does SwiftERM add?

Other platforms can offer sophisticated recommendations and personalised timing. SwiftERM’s proposition is the complete autonomous process: individual prediction, product ranking, email assembly and delivery without routine campaign construction. Assess it against the work your current setup requires and the further purchasing opportunities it generates.

Can I keep my existing email marketing platform?

Yes. SwiftERM can operate alongside your existing email software, so newsletters and other marketing activity can continue. This does not imply a direct integration with every provider. Discuss your current setup with SwiftERM to establish compatibility, communication arrangements and how results will be measured.

Which ecommerce platforms does SwiftERM support?

SwiftERM lists Shopify, WooCommerce, Adobe Magento and OpenCart among its integrations. Bespoke requirements and particular platform versions should be checked before installation. The getting-started guide explains registration, platform installation, verification and email-domain setup.

Trial and subscription

What does it cost to establish whether SwiftERM works for me?

The initial 30-day trial and installation are free. No subscription fee is charged during the free trial unless expressly agreed otherwise. A valid payment method may be required, with a small temporary authorisation to verify it. The trial lets you assess your own results before paying a subscription.

What happens if the trial does not reach the guarantee threshold?

Under the current trial terms, the qualifying trial continues without subscription charge until attributed revenue reaches four times the applicable subscription price. A functioning integration, accurate data and compliance with the terms are required. The threshold measures attributed revenue against the fee; it is not a profit guarantee.

How is the subscription priced?

Monthly pricing is tiered by customer database size. Published sterling pricing starts at £100 per month for fewer than 20,000 contacts. Use the current pricing table for your database size and billing currency, and assess the fee against the contribution your results produce.

Am I locked into a long-term subscription?

No. You may cancel through the available account controls or by written notice. Cancellation prevents future monthly renewals; charges properly incurred for a billing period already started remain due and are generally non-refundable. The subscription terms set out the full arrangements.

Data and support

Who owns my customer data?

Your business retains its rights in customer data. Where SwiftERM processes personal data on your behalf, the applicable Data Processing Agreement governs the arrangements. Your business remains responsible for lawful collection and marketing permissions. Review the privacy information and obtain the relevant data-processing documentation before installation.

What happens if I change my website or leave the service?

Discuss platform or integration changes with SwiftERM in advance so the connection can be maintained. For data exit, the current terms ordinarily allow up to 90 days for recovery or export, subject to the Data Processing Agreement and applicable law. Request any required export before the applicable deletion date; contact SwiftERM for assistance.
